The Fat Robot Sings

This is it. The fat robot has sung. This is the final doodle for Doodle-All-A-Day. I'm a little bit sad and a little bit elated. This has been an interesting experiment, to say the least.

I can quite honestly say that I've learned a lot by doing this. I've learned a lot about using the Wacom tablet, and creating artwork in Photoshop. I've learned a few things about my drawing style, what I like to do, what I don't like to do. Most of all, I've learned that I can stick with something, even when I really don't feel like doing it... and believe me, there were a good number of days when I said, "I just reaaaallly don't feel like drawing today."

This has been a good warm-up exercise. It's time to move on to bigger and better things. I have another project that's been itching for me to take it on. I won't be committing to doing one doodle a day with this next project, but I plan to share a bit of my progress as I go along. I find that it helps to keep me accountable if I'm posting things online. So, if you're interested in seeing what I'm up to, hop on over to chadcburnett.com.
