Cigarette Butt
Yes, I know this is an odd choice of subject matter, but I do have reasons. No, I haven't taken up smoking. I have enough vices, thank you very much. I decided to draw a snubbed out cigarette butt first because of the shape. I've been doing some practicing drawing basic shapes. This is a continuation of that practice - a cigarette being cylindrical. I also realized that I haven't done too much mixing up with my brushes, and drawing something fairly simple gives me the opportunity to do that without having to worry too much about anything else. And finally, I wanted to play around with making smoke again.

These are honestly looking Great!! I'm very impressed (although the male fairy had me worried for a while). You are a real wiz with that tablet. I cannot wait to see what else you do. if I can make one request and one comment though: My hair looks a little long in the July 18 post, and I'd like to see some star wars characters.
I've thought about doing some character sketches from various movies, books, comics, etc. I may do that sooner or later, but for now I wanted to concentrate on original stuff.
... and I'm trying to think of something clever to say regarding your hair in the the July 18 post... I guess I'm just surprised you didn't mention anything about the color. Or did you die your hair and I just guessed right? :-D
well, I was trying not to draw attention to it
