This is a more detailed version of a sketch I did last month. I still plan on adding color to this one, so I've skimped a little bit on the shading, since it will disappear in the final version and is only needed for reference.

Dragon Pinup Outlines

Dragonfly Completed
Today's post represents the halfway point of Doodle-All-A-Day! Frankly, I didn't think I was going to make it this far... To celebrate this milestone, I thought I'd complete this sketch that I posted earlier this week. Unfortunately, I ran out of time to add color to it, but I like the way it turned out just the same.

Dragon II
Another dragon. This time I was trying out a new outlining technique I found online. I was able to keep all of the outlining work completely in Photoshop and still get much the same effect I was getting by using Illustrator. Think I'll experiment a bit more with this technique.

Dragon
Dragons are another fun subject to draw. I did this one simply because I wanted to experiment with making the smoke come out of his nostrils. The smoke on this one was done by drawing a few sketched lines and then smudging them to death with the smudge tool. I like the effect, but think it could use a little more refining.
